News Urbanistika and Kelprojektas to elaborate the development plan for the gas interconnection Poland-Lithuania and the environmental impact assessment

"Urbanistika" and "Kelprojektas" will be elaborating the development plan for the gas interconnection Poland-Lithuania and the environmental impact assessment for 601 thousand litas.

The consortium that has offered the lowest bid was declared to win the tender, announced by "Lietuvos dujos", and signed the contract on the 19th of August. Under the contract, the works must be finished by 15 January 2015.

"Urbanistika" and "Kelprojektas" will elaborate the plan of a segment of the gas interconnection Poland-Lithuania in the territory of Lithuania as well as perform the strategic environmental assessment and the environmental impact assessment.

These solutions will be used for the engineering of the gas interconnection from the border with Poland to Jauniūnai gas compressor station in Širvintos District (Lithuania) and the investment project. The plan will also have to provide for the potential locations for the pipeline construction, technical parameters, and economic comparison of different gas interconnection options.
